The South Texas Rolleristas are a group of girls who, like many other leagues across the nation - are earning their stripes by staying true to the rules that allow us to play. Not too much can get by us, and we like it that way.
Our league began with 21 rebel girls who wanted nothing more than to skate and have a great time doing it. On June 1, 2006, the South Texas Rolleristas was born. We are a truly skater run, skater owned and skater operated league. We believe in and strive for excellence in everything we do. We are a tough group of smart, sexy women that will not hesitate to rock you!
We love diversity. Our entire league thus far is as eclectic as you can get. We are composed of women from all walks of life, many varied backgrounds, and many different professions. We are nurses, house wives, accountants, waitresses, and students. We are punk rockers, cowgirls, debutants, and part-time super heroes. Above all, we are Rolleristas.

My Interests

Deep South Texas has Roller Derby! We are the SOUTH TEXAS ROLLERISTAS! Volunteers, and anyone willing to help us get the word out are encouraged.

Drop us a line either here or at [email protected] and any of the girls will get you headed in the right direction. See you there!!

Music:

On November 4, 2006 the South Texas Rolleristas, LLC brought Roller Derby to the Valley. We introduced ourselves to the Rio Grande Valley by playing our first ever bout. The teams playing were representing the areas of the Valley in which they lived. The Upper Valley Calaveras, and the Lower Valley Luchadoras. Playing at the event were two bands that provided more than enough entertainment for the bout!
MARIACHIS del INFIERNO
