About Me

Started on a trashcan and a pawnshop Mako guitar in 1992, it was touch and go constantly in an area where people are too old to appreciate fine noise (or they're already dead). Guitarist/vocalist Charles Rangel went back up to Austin, in central Texas in 1994 to find.......Whatever was lacking in South Texas, which was alot. Marriage took him on a different direction and Charles soon found himself training to be a commercial pilot in Waco in 2000. Marriage problems and several wacky, crazy fucked up religious zealots flying into buildings helped put a lid on his flying career. Now with a private pilots license and a guitar in hand, he brings you TheDirtstars. Now, The Dirtstars play rock and roll. The end.
