About Me

I am never fully satisfied with these attempted summaries. What I can do is, to the best of my abilities, tell who I am now, at this very moment that I write this. I am Travis Jonathan Niemeyer- songwriter, guitarist, singer, poet, deep thinker. I no longer look toward my past for solace (or anything, for that matter.) It is dead. I look deep within, and almost always find that the only thing that matters is moving forward. Retaining wisdom is one thing. Pining has gotten me nowhere........ While I do consider myself a TRUE metal fan, I am by no means a closed-minded "purist." I have been a huge MUSIC fan my whole life. In that; I am pure. The arts and entertainment are very important to me. They are what help take away the reality of this tangible plane of oftentimes miserable existence. It is not important how militantly loyal, to the point of insane tunnel vision, you are to a small portion of the vast universe of art. What is important is what entertains, intrigues, entrances, and touches a person, despite the social "rules" attatched to any said genre. I do not tolerate those who focus more on what they don't like than what they just so happen to allow themselves to enjoy. You cannot win if you gave a shit what these types of people think. I let myself feast, while they choke down stale bread........Anyway, I'm single. It's gonna stay that way until I find an devlish little angel that gives me that euphoric feeling that I know exists, no matter how jaded I think I am........I love nature, particularly in the Fall. I'm spiritual, and believe that everything is connected through a kind of "Divine Poetry." Everything is real, even what is not./fwl

Writing and listening to music, playing my guitar, reading, writing poetry and fiction, nature, beer, horror movies, crazy comedies, fantasy, nice/openminded people, cooking, sleeping/dreaming, causing genocide....
