International Songwriting Competition Finalist 2007Lyrical Eye Started performing live at venues around Cyprus at the age of 16 alongside big names around that time Universal Soldiers. After many years of experience and hard work trying to get his name out, the artist finally got a big opportunity to represent at the biggest hiphop festival in europe during the summer of 2006 called the Hip Hop Kemp (20,000 People). Other big names that attended that same year were Non Phixion, Guru, Afu Ra, Sway, Klashnekoff and other huge names around Europe. During the Summer of 2007 He also performed at one of the biggest music festivals in the world, Popkomm Festival in Germany, Berlin. The showcase took place in the best hiphop club in Berlin, Cassiopeia with other acts
such as Multi-Award Winning Hiltop Hoods, Texta, Dj Mesia, Wild Life Refugee and many more. With live performances on national television and radio play on major stations in U.k and Cyprus the movement continues....Lyrical Eye has represented with live performances at the biggest venues around Cyprus from urban rnb/hiphop clubs to universities to New Years Eve national celebrations in the heart of the capital city in front of many thousand... Also the Urban Soul Festival...With events continuing from Europe (Greece, Uk, Romania, France, Czech Republic,Germany)and so forth, the artist has been in contact with many major labels which have shown signs of interest.
2007 was a very strong year for Lyrical Eye after reaching the finals of the largest songwriting competition in the world out of 15,000 songs to the final 15. ISC . Judges to this competition included the presidents of most major labels in the world such as Sony, Emi, Violator, Universal and guest judges such as Run Dmc, Sean Paul, Macy Gray and many more. Also announced a week later Lyrical Eye was announced an Award Winner in another major songwriting competition called the Great American Song Contest Fresh of signing a publshing deal with a company in the states which will not be named until further notice. Lyrikal has also been included on the Europavox latest compilation which includes one artist from each country with huge names around Europe such as IAM, Indy & Wich, etc.
