For me art is an outlet. I like to visualise what I am passionate about and what I sometimes find difficult to put in to words. I love art that is able to affect me on an emotional level. I find images that contain contrasting elements the most powerful. My images are a combination of photographs I have taken of people, places and objects that I have brought together using Photoshop. I would describe my own work as colourful and theatrical. I enjoy giving my work a theatrical quality because I like to entertain the viewer. I dress up my models to become characters in a photo so that the image contains an element of narrative. I want the viewer to look at my image and create their own story.
