Supar Novar was first introduced to the London underground Hip Hop scene by way of his crew Flip Tha Skript. A familiar face around Holloway and Camden Town, Novar impressed all with his superior skills and a general all round good natured attitude to life. It was these two assets that inspired the Mud Fam to add him to their ranks. Novar is capable of wrecking any mic at any jam. Novar looks set to be one of the few UK rappers who has the motivation and attitude to live up to his potential. His first release on Kemet Ents. Records in 2001, ’When SuparNovar Explodes’ b/w ’All I Need’ was one of the biggest underground tunes of that year. Novar then decided to keep it in the fam as the Mud Family EP had just been released on the PM Muzik label which intended to also release solo singles from all the members, but things don’t always happen as they are planned in this industry, so nothing ended up coming of this in the end and Supar Novar decided to make a mixtape and release it on his own, which he did with the help of DJ Flip (Explosive Muzik Vol 1). This was one of the first ever UK Hip hop artist mixtapes and helped inspire the mixtape scene we have today. The second official Supar Novar release was ’Make Way’ b/w ’When R They Gonna C’ and was released on Self Destruct Music. Over the next few years Novar took the time out to work on his craft and build as an artist, while still getting out there and hitting up the live circuit (opening for MOP, The Alchaholics and DJ Premier along the way to name a few), Some people say that things happen for a reason and this story is evidence of that as taking time out made Novar grow into a much more mature and accomplished artist. Supar Novar then signed back with Kemet Entertainment Records and finally released his debut album ’From The Beginning’ along with three new singles ’Reppin’, ’All the Way’ and ’Tomorrow’ which all had videos to accompany them. The album lead to Supar Novar hitting the live circuit hard again including opening for Ghost Face (Wu-Tang) and playing at Glastonbury Festival, it also lead to him winning 'Best Hip Hop Act 2006' at the Indy Music Awards. Supar Novar has now started recording his second album 'Cross My heart And Hope 2 Die' with features so far by N-Dubz and Neon Hitch and most most of the production duties being handled by himself and Show N Prove. With honesty and intelligent socio-political commentary in his lyrics, Novar sets himself apart from the rest of the crowd with a fierce intention of taking himself and his music further into the future with a burning desire to be heard....
