Hi,I'm Babz (AKA Bakarr, Bab, Leaneye, Lean(G)riot, The Modern Day Griot, The Black William Blake , TIHISMC. besides a thousand others ) In my spare time I like to write rhymes about the good old days in the Bury (Finsbury), historical and spiritual. Music has always been a hobby for me. writing rhymes on buses or just finding little bits and pieces coming out of me as I go about my business. I first stated writing rhymes in school. Performing in every bands concert in school either rapping or singing. Taken part in talent shows but mostly just kicked it for the mandem. Been thinking of going back on the music thing since 2005 when I went on a motivational course held by Andy Harrington (Fire Your Desire). Sometimes you got to do a lot of what you don't want to do or what you can to find out where your passion lie, alie ;-)Having pursued many other avenues music is a love but always seems to find second place (if that ;-) in my life. I thought it would be nice to share with friends. I guess this is myspace.
