I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm addicted to mozzarella & tomatoes. I like music and shiny happy people. I detest racism. Sometimes I love London, sometimes I hate it. Stupid jokes are good. People with the inability to think outside of their own opinions and listen to the views of others are not. I'm a bit of a mare, sometimes a slightly pretentious Madam, making a conscious effort to be less stressed and more laid back. Because I’m worth it ;-)

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Myself. In twenty year's time. For a quick chat about how it's all going. Assuming I'm not dead, because that would be a pretty bland conversation.

Music:

Rock, electronica, indie, trip-hop, country, dance, trance, pop, 70's disco, acid-jazz, classical, opera. I like some things in pretty much every genre, really. Here are some things from my iTunes that I listen to lots.2 Many DJs, AFX, Amon Tobin, Anthony & The Johnsons, Aphex Twin, Arcade Fire, Bauhaus, Biffy Clyro, Bjork, Bright Eyes, British Sea Power, Cut Copy, Daft Punk, Damien Rice, David Bowie, Death from Above 1979, Death In Vegas, DJ Shadow, Four Tet, Fujiya Miyagi, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Funkstörung, Goldfrapp, Goose, I Am Kloot, IMA Robot, Interpol, James Hyman (XFM, The Rinse), Joy Division, Ken Ishii, King Adora, Kings of Leon, Lauryn Hill, LCD Soundsystem, Led Zeppelin, Massive Attack, Modest Mouse, Múm, Muse, Nirvana, NU, Placebo, Pris_, Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead, Röyksopp, Sigur Rós, Soulwax, Stellastarr*, The Chemical Brothers, The Cure, The Flaming Lips, The Hives, The Killers, The Knife, The loveGods, The Mars Volta, The Prodigy, The Strokes, The Verve, The Vines, The Wedding Present, The White Stripes, Thievery Corporation, Thom Yorke, Tom McRae Underworld, Underworld, UNKLE, Vitalic, Wolfsheim, Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Movies:

Withnail and I, Fight Club, Oldboy, Ali, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Mary Poppins, The Crow, The Omen.

Television:

Thanks, but no.

Books:

I'm a sloth when it comes to books. Haven't read anything for a year. The last thing was Murder in Samarkland - very interesting.

Heroes:

My mum. David Bowie. Joey, for single-handedly making it his mission to educate me in the ways of musical righteousness.
