About Me

!I never know what to say in these things. I guess one could say Iâ€™m a huge movie buff. I love to sculpt. Horror movies and H.P. Lovecraft are big inspirations for me. I enjoy the strange places Lovecraftâ€™s characters take you. The madness that the characters endure. I enjoy reading the occasional book but they are usually horror as well. I do love the Harry Potter books. I think anyone who thinks they are childish has not read one. Jim Butcher's Dresden Files are a good set of books as well. Comics. I love spider man. I donâ€™t know why. A darker character than I think you normally see in the more main stream comics. More real in his struggles and doubts. I love watching TV shows. Not so much on TV as I get tired of products being shoved down my throat every 10 minutes. Drive was a good show till it was cancelled. Evil entities of Fox strike again. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Primeval, Spaced, Supernatural, Raines, Monk, House, these are all shows I enjoy. But most of all is Firefly. I am to this show as a Trekkie is to Star Trek. Itâ€™s just a great show. Almost everyone I have showed it to has succumbed to it. Even after falling prey to Fox. The show still lives on in its fans. If you have never seen the show, do. I enjoy a good horror movie, even more so the bad ones. Sci-fi channel original movies are always fun. I think cinema is changing a lot as more of the main stream movies are fluff. Independent film were lacking in special effects usually make up for in story. I live with my wife Amy and my 3 dogs. Plumper, Shaniqua, and Mab. They are more adopted children than pets. My Interests

Music:

Love a bit of it all..except rap. Not a big fan of rap..

Movies:

HORROR! I love a good horror flick. Hell I even like the bad ones..

Television:

I am getting to the point where I almost like TV better than Movies. Many of the films coming out are rehashing old ideas or flat out remakes. Most are very lacking in story. Fodder for the Sheep. Dont get me wrong. Im one of the flock. Independent film and TV are picking up the slack. Buffy the vampire slayer, Angel, Monk, Raines, Drive, The Dresden Files, Spaced, Primevil. All are excellent examples of TV going in the right directions. But Top of the list is still FIREFLY!

Books:

H.P. Lovecraft is my FAVORITE! Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files are right on. Harry Potter is up the list. The rest of the list is mostly all Horror. No authors inparticular as of yet.

Heroes:

My Grandfather Franklin Wagar and Bruce Campbell.
