About Me

I'm an illustrator who works in a range of styles to produce everything from children's book illustrations, wildlife illustration, character design and contemporary graphic images. I work in a range of media from traditional drawing and watercolour skills to digital image manipulation.
I also dabble in Photography, which began as a means of gathering research material for my illustrations that has grown into becoming just as important as my illustration workand I have recently invested in a digital SLR camera to take my photography work further. I largelly specialise in wildlife photography and band photography at the moment but would be more than willing to accept any challenge.Below are a list of links where you can view some of my work, aside from the work in my photo albums on this page. If you're interested in anything you see or want to ask any questions about bookings or projects please email me at [email protected]

Needless to say if you steal any of of my artwork or photography you're breaching my copyright aswell as pissing me off - next time you leave your house you will be set upon by a team of ninja mongooses who will eat your face off. So just don't, ok?

My Interests

Spending as much time as possible drawing, photographing and making clothes. My current sideproject is to finally complete my illustrations for 101 Uses Of Guineapigs, of which i'm lacking a few of the 101. But 78 Uses For Guineapigs doesn't quite sound as good.

Dreaming of someday moving to Berlin and leaving the crazy rush of the UK behind in a land where public transport doesn't stop at midnight.

Accidental stalking. As in not meaning to stalk bands but somehow firstly running into them and secondly managing to make a cringeworthy mess of a conversation with them. Of which my greatest achievement it finding Jarvis Cocker trying to hide in a field, next to a blue bouncy castle.

Going to too many gigs, spending all my money on travelling to them and then sulking that I couldn't go to more.

The lesser known part of my life is spent 'twitching'. This is not some crazy dance move. Rather the type of twitch you associate with birdwatching in a marsh in the middle of nowhere and getting far too excited about seeing some rare species of owl.

I'd like to meet:

The tasteful few. People who buy me drinks. People who like good sounds. Cats. Critters. Fewer crazy pub perverts.

Mini Catch Up

What've I been up to then? The Manics tour gave me the warm fuzzies and I'm now strangely obsessed with leopard print goodness and Nicky Wire again. I feel all nostalgic and leetle when this happens. ...

It's raining in Butlins. Thomas has a headache.

And thus begineth the dissertation nightmare...

I don't have the attention span to a dissertation. Can't I just draw meerkats in leg warmers? Do I really want to write 8000 words on children's picture books? What happened to the girl who was going ...
