Born and raised in Washington DC., Reina comes from a large family of
musicians. Her mother, a singer and a music teacher started all her kids
onto a musical instrument by the age of 4. By the age of 17, Reina had
already performed music in many parts of the world. After receiving a
bachelors of fine arts she went on to perform professionally in television,
stage and film. Some of her stage credits include : The Little Shop of Horrors,
Dream Girls, Jellys Last Jam, Black Nativity, various dance companies,
numerous gospel musicals and the national Broadway tour of Aint Misbehavin.
She has worked with Yolanda Adams, Daryl Coley, Jennifer Holiday, Jeff Majors, Mercedes Ellington, Irene Cara and Mike Malone to name a few. She has also been in major motion pictures and national television and she is currently working on a cd and film projects.
