ShonseGenoray Hawkins a native of Denver, Colorado born on the 10th day of January,who now reside in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania

With humble beginnings,the pretentious singer, songwriter carried the roots of growing up in church from a young age .Having such a sacred background gave the aspiring singer the foundation that she needed to begin a life of sharing her God given gift to the world. Carrying a strong spiritual background,not only solidified her foundation but overtly projected her growing lifestyle to the world.
Being uprooted in faith, Shonse ventured away from home at the age of 16 going abroad to Russia and later traveling to Finland. Living overseas for a period of time gave Shonse worldwide exposure to other cultures making her appreciate and respect individuals way of living."The experience was well worth it, the good and the bad" she adds.
Always being aware and cognizant of the gifts Gods blessed her with,
Shonse knew she had a mission which was to deliver a message of encouragement to everyone from all walks of life.Shonse really has the passion and a strong love for the performing arts as well. With theatrical training from Freedom Theatre taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,helped to hone and developed her craft. But through all the theatrics, it did didn't take much to see that the art of singing remained at the top of her list.

Shonse by trade holds a Masters of Science degree she attained from the University of Tennessee with a concentration in literary education. She feels the importance of literacy in the country is a need often overlooked by the alarming number of other fatalities and travesies and dramatic statistics through the Center of Disease Control starting with young adolescents.Shonse continues to push for all education for a liftime.
Although Shonse felt education is an imperative and neccesary tool to obtain,

Shonse took her vocal training serious by receiving
five years of classical training under her belt,has been exposed to many different genres of music at a young age but remains versatile in many venues.
