Betty Page, Calling cops "son", breaking glass, the sound of breaking glass A pint along the railroad tracks w/a cool breeze in the shade, a bowl of tortilla soup, jalapenos, girls that buy me a drink, Freckles, BBQs in my backyard, love to cook (I have cooked in some of the best and all of the worst restaurants in Dallas) I love raising my son and hanging out w/him and the boys.I love what I do.I do what I love.I love old shoes, torn jeans, and a new pork pie hat, Zippos, Dada, Dali & Duchamp, late night early morning fog, cinnamon tooth picks. Other peoples..trash, hopes/dreams or heartbreaks, listening,...wipeing that tear off your cheek,people watching in ports of transit or coffee shops, playing harmonica when no one is listening, cursing when no one can hear, writing what no one reads,...the smell of rain on concrete, The smell of paint, biscuits and gravy, or the scent of a woman's neck,(love necks),...there are "Three Rare Beauties"...dark hair and blue eyes, red hair and brown eyes, blond hair and green eyes. The company of a pretty girl. Dallas artist, Saxophones & Tubas, raw talent, people who create and express themselves unashamedly, story tellers, liars, gypsies, vagabonds, heart breakers, (even if they are my own), I love to talk to strangers(people who don't know who the hell I am) I love to watch couples in love...engaged in each others eyes,whether they are playfully teasing each other or quietly in to the moment...and here is what you need to know about me...its all about the moment..whatever it is, good or tragic you have to feel it now. Embrace the laughter and the tears...that is life, that makes you who you are, Don't let anyone go there for you, experience life for yourself....I carry stones in my pocket that represent the people I have lost in life, a couple for friends, one for my wife(gone four years now). I put them in my pocket each morning to remind me of how fragile life can be, and to live it the best I can. Being there is the only way to get full use out of life. So...if I know you,...if I love you ...I pray for you. Take good care of yourself...and don't make me carry another stone ... my pockets are getting heavy.
