I am here for Friends

About Me

We are here for such a short time. Make every moment count... with love.

"For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven..." Ecclesiastes 3:1-22
.. First, I must say that in my life, I am blessed! I am a Christian, a mother of three grown children, a teacher, a friend, a widowed wife, a new bride, a stepmother, a survivor through Christ. My high school sweetheart, best friend and husband of 28+ years went to be with our Lord on September 14, 2005. While we all miss him dearly, we rejoice that he is in "the" perfect place and will be there to greet us when God calls us home. Having prayed solely for God's will, I have been blessed with a wonderful Christ centered relationship in my new love, Terry. Terry is a good man with a passion for Christ and a heart for serving others. He has an infectious smile and a great sense of humor. Together, we desire to know God's will for our lives and to then set out to do it. We were married December 29, 2006! I am just tickled "pink." We are happy to be so very blessed with this gift of grace from God. God has been my strength and His abundance and blessings overflow! In my life, I have many interests and hobbies. I really enjoy music. I like to dance. I love dark chocolate (although a Chunky bar now and then is great too)! The sounds of wind chimes and children's laughter bring me joy. I absolutely love the smell of gardenias! I really love picnics- especially spontaneous ones. I like to travel and get to know people from various places. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I teach- because I can. If you'd like to know more about me, explore my "space" or message me!"We can complain that the rosebush has thorns, or rejoice that the thornbush has roses."- Abe Lincoln

Heroes:

The countless numbers of men and women who have served and serve today, in our military, to allow me to cherish my freedom that is so often taken for granted. Thank you! My first husband and very best friend of 28+ years, who gave cancer a run for it's money! He was brave and kept his love of life and sense of humor 'til his very last breath...forever and three days! And, of course, Mr. Potato Head. "That's as it should be...life goes on." M'Lynn Eatenton.Promise Slideshow (Tribute to Soldiers)
