I'm a single Mama of 4 grown kids (2 biological and 2 adopted from Korea and Viet Nam, 49 to 41) and Grandma to 7 (3 girls, 4 boys, 18 to 3)My main Nicknames are: "Mama Ellie" or "Miss Ellie" --- so my signature is: me <><) My name...Eleanor or Ellie, means "Bright and Shining Light" and I want to be a light for Jesus Christ (Messiah-- Y'shua Ha Mashiach), The Light of the World..thus, the other nickname, "Britelite." I love Jesus and sharing Him with others. I do not understand how true Bible believers can put themselves under religious or political umbrellas of those who promote abortion and destruction of traditional marriage and family. BA degree in Biblical Studies and Christian Psychology & Counseling and have been in lay ministry and evangelism for 40 years. *~~~*I went on a Christian mission trip to Taiwan and Korea in 1987 and made a brief visit to The Netherlands and UK in 1999--all, wonderful precious hosts!!! *~~~* I have known a good share of heartache and hardship over the years, and believe that those chapters of life enhance one's connectedness with and compassion to others. Just as one who speaks many foreign languages has that much more access to people, so too, do those who have had many trials and sufferings. *~~~*Sharing Jesus with others (evangelism and discipleship) is my primary purpose in life, having witnessed the resurrection power of Jesus in multiple dozens of tranformed (born-again) lives over the years. I've been disabled with Fibromyalgia since 1998, so the body has slowed down some...but my mouth and typing fingers still work, so I can still share the Good News of Jesus with a lost, hurting, and dying world!!!
