Asian Cinema In Los Angeles

I am here for Friends

About Me

A labor of love for an obsessive fanboy. This started out (and continues as) a Live Journal community to help spread the word about screenings of Asian films in the L.A. area. I basically check the websites for the various theaters and make a note of any Asian films playing.
All updates will be posted in the Blog. I'll post a bulletin everytime I update the blog with new screenings. I recommend subscribing to the blog.
I don't get paid for this. I don't get free tickets to screenings. Nothing like that. Although if someone wants to give me some, I would certainly accept them. I just do it as a kind of public service. I want people to go and see these films. They need your support, and they deserve it (most of the time). It takes me a couple of hours everytime, but if even one person goes to see one of these films because of that, then it is well worth my time.
If you happen to know of something I've missed, then please let me know.
If you happen to be associated with a film that's going to be screening in the L.A. area or in Southern California, please contact me. Especially if you're part of an independent film. I'd love to make sure your film gets put on the schedule.
Questions, comments, suggestions, love letters, death threats, and marriage proposals can be emailed to asiancinemala[nospam]@yahoo.com. Or you can check out my personal profile .
