While performing with this orchestra, he also arranged and conducted musical productions that have been televised nationally.Rod spent many hours as a kid admiring his mother as she rehearsed, recorded, and performed. Though Rod has made music and traveled the globe with notable artists, now the spotlight is on him. He has pulled together some of the greatest musicians of our time to capture the essence of his music. There is wisdom.., it’s even hollering out here on the streets, for somebody to hear. I have checked out these folks for years: Joe Sample, Phil Collins, H. Johnson, Dr. Karl Haas, William Green, Quincy Jones, Art Tatum, Erroll Garner, Oscar Peterson, Bob James, Mary Lou Williams, Phil Davis..., and my "MANE MAN GINO VANELLI" .
Sounds Like: Some say that my sound is similar to that of Ramsey Lewis and Joe Sample. The artist that I listen to the most is me.
