Gillian Glover
Producer / songwriter
2005 to present
Gillian Glover is an exquisite singer/songwriter, with an exceptional sense of melody. Gillian plays with funk band Beat:Root and this is her first solo album; a collection of rockin' blues based numbers and beautiful acoustic songs laced with pathos.
This project was started at Flower Power Studios, London, in August 2005, then finished at Miloco Studios, London, July - December 2006. The album was mixed with the help of Roger Glover in January 2007 and was released on 14 May 2007, distributed by Plastic Head.
This is a great album go out and buy it from Amazon, HMV and all good record shops.
Gillian and I were lucky to work with a very cool and experienced band on this project, including:

Vita Ross
Producer / songwriter
2006 and onwards
Vita Ross is a talented singer/songwriter and stunning live performer. She is currently working on her debut album, which I am producing, - writing new songs, rehearsing at The Premises in Hackney and recording at Miloco Studios in Shoreditch. V finally has time to concentrate on her music after just completing a law degree at Newcastle University. Watch this space vitaross.com
The Chavs
Vocals / keyboards
2003 to present
Bluesy rock n roll, read all about it at The Chavs MySpace
Maniac Squat
Vocals / keyboards
1992 2002 (with a sabbatical from 1996 2001)
Terrible music made by terrible people. I spent my youth gigging, recording, touring, drinking and fighting with my friends Scott (guitar), Michael (bass) and Did (drums). Although we were bad most of the time, the Maniac Squat years were creatively seminal for me, and unfortunately have made me who I am today.
Our single Fuck Off was single of the week in Kerrang! And no one can ever take that away from us, no sir.
Writing
I have written an essay for a book entitled Common Ground a collaboration with 30 other writers. My piece is about Giles Smiths definitive pop book Lost in Music and my lost years in Maniac Squat. Published by Cyan/Marshall Cavendish.
