Band Members: Tom Hardy - vocals, bassoon, contra bassoon, sax, keyboards, guitars, bass and programming. Have had a go at the spoons too but not so hot....oh and did I mention the BASSOON? Have a listen to Nocturne if you think it's just a low buzzy instrument. ;-) You will be forgiven for thinking the contra bassoon a little more esoteric! Influences: Any artist who has a unique sound and who puts his or her heart and soul on the line has my total support so my influences are across ALL genres.So, everything from about 1500 AD onwards... though some of those monks were pretty good earlier than that too.Favourites have always been Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Schubert, Brahms, Mahler and the thrill of a live orchestra will never leave me.When I am not playing/listening to classical music then I love female vocalists - Sarah Mclachlan, Nerina Pallot (myspace queen and now awfully FAMOUS all of a sudden!) Alanis Morrissette, K T Tunstall, Lucie Silvas, Tori Amos. I was raised on The Beatles, David Bowie and Roxy Music and was seen leaping up and down to the Jam and all the new wave stuff when I was too young to be in the pub but was anyway. But I don't just listen to female vocalists..Love Sting and Seal too and Steely Dan (not because they all begin with S...). And I keep finding some fantastic talent on myspace so the journey continues.
