Luke - Session Drummer

Luke Schönenberger is a self-taught freelance session drummer from Essex. With a musical upbringing and 16 years of drumming experience, he is capable of working in studio and live environments comfortably. He has worked with many talented musicians from different musical backgrounds, and so his skills and playing styles are versatile; anything from jazz, ska and pop through to indie, metal and thrash.
Luke's style and technique has been influenced by drummers such as Mike Portnoy, Thomas Lang and Joey Jordison, however plays live with the energy and dynamics of drummers such as Taylor Hawkins and Travis Barker.
At 20 years of age, Luke is young but ambitious and capable. His performances demonsrate his abilities as a confident and inspiring live musician, whilst also possessing the skills needed in the studio environment.
Luke is endorsed by Artbeat Drumsticks (Germany) and Hookanaka Clothing (Italy) and uses Tama and Sonor drums with a varety of Zildjian and Paiste cymbals.

Session Work - Available to work on projects where a versatile and professional drummer is needed. Can adapt to all styles of music extremely quickly, whether it be rock, jazz, funk, or pop.
