KATY THOMAS
Whilst modelling, Katy and Alt Tv discovered each other nearly a year ago. Since then Katy has discovered a passion for presenting and Alt has discovered someone willing to rise to any challenge. Her role at Alt Tv has expanded rapidly; providing the Entertainment News, Weather and Surf reports on Alt Action New every weeknight at 6pm and previously hosted ALT TV's ‘Alterior Motive’. Katy loves nothing better than interviewing any interesting Internationals, including pop-stars Dirty South & Seany B (TV Rock) to fashion designer Nom D* and even Jessica Drake (porn star!) with some of her interviews turning up on tv overseas! Since then she has contributed as a music/events reviewer for CLEO and Infusion Magazine for which she is also a presenter on the Infusion podcasts with Karn Hall.
GENERAL LEE
Notorious Auckland DJ General Lee (with regular shows on Georgefm, ZM and numerous residencies) discovered a love of music at the tender age of 12. At 17 he ditched his date at his school ball to hang out with Sample Gee and hasn’t looked back since. Since then he has played alongside : Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Armand Van Helden, Basement Jaxx, Carl Cox, Sander Kleinenberg, , Judge Jules, and most recently : Bob Sinclar , Seany b from tv rock, kaskade, Mylo , and Mr Tom Novy.
These two debut the latest and greatest in music in Alt Tv’s first ever 2 hr show guaranteed to gear you up for the weekend. These two are a match made in television with the most interactive show on ALT TV, The Playhouse has a friendly attitude to its viewers; encouraging them to text them on their Apple Mac during the show, email, chat and get their five minutes of fame at gigs they are covering. Plus loads of competitions and the sharing of some interesting life stories means you’re never bored!
