Music:

TIM PHIN: What do you get when you cross the sounds of New Zealand’s biggest DJ with rising stars of the indie rock scene? A booty-shaking anthem that destroys the dancefloor! The freshly-released collaboration between Tim Phin and The Midnight Youth on ‘Supernatural’ (Move You, Shake You) is very timely and follows the success of remixes of other indie rock bands like Evermore and The Killers. Everything Tim Phin does is big. Big parties, big magazine, and of course big tracks. For over ten years Tim has been a major player in the New Zealand dance scene and is without a doubt the most active and popular DJ. Tim had his first hit producing in 2003 under the name Solidarity and his track ‘Find A Way’ was co-produced by Jay-J (San Francisco/Defected) and signed to OM Records for global release with licensing to Hed Kandi and Defected. This passion for great tunes is also captured in the Our:House compilation CD’s which he mixes – because no one can move them and shake them like Tim can. --------------- KASKADE:Any house fan worth their salt should see Kaskade at least once in their lifetime – he is an absolute legend! He has the respect of DJs and fans all over the world, and it’s a coup for us to be able to bring him to Nite:Life! Kaskade has been the headliner at huge festivals and events around the world, and his music is consistently at the top of the charts. His remix of the Pussycat Dolls' "Don't Cha" immediately hit Number One on Billboard Magazine's Hot Dance Music Club Play, as did his remix of David Morales' "Here I Am." His own songs have proven to be just as chart worthy: "Steppin' Out" earned Kaskade wide recognition, far beyond the dance music scene. One of the true dance music superstars in the world today, you don’t wanna miss out on seeing him live at Nite:Life!---------------SOUL CENTRAL:Timmy Vegas of SOUL CENTRAL has been playing records for as long as he can remember. Multi-talented Timmy has enjoyed a varied musical career, even enjoying 2 years on the road with Led Zeppelin rock legend Jimmy Plant – playing electric piano, Hammond organ and electric guitar! 2006/7 were Timmy’s most successful years in dance music to date – having enjoyed a steady stream of underground club hits including the club smash “Dutty Funk” (We Can Do). Under his Soul Central guise, Timmy continues to sit at the forefront of house music worldwide, most recently achieving cross-over success with his the remix of Fedde Le Grande’s UK Number 1 “Put Your Hands Up For Detroit”. Timmy tears it up behind the decks! ---------------GOODWILL (MINISTRY OF SOUND):Aussie dance music giant Goodwill was made famous through his mixing of the must-have Ministry of Sound Annual, Clubbers Guide, and Sessions albums. He produces several genres of music under several different pseudonyms, leaks his own white label bootleg mash-ups to fellow DJs and onto rocking dance floors, remixes megastars, tours Australiaand the world, has an alarming, thankfully rare, stage diving habit, fronts a national radio show, knows far too many people (far too well), and can drink drunks under the table. Goodwill has been responsible for mixing Ministry of Sound's The 2008 ANNUAL (currently the #1 Album In Aussie), plus the Ministry of Sound Clubbers Guide to 2006 & 2007, and Sessions Three, all of which you no doubt have in your own CD collection. He is a master with the big room tunes you all know and love! --------------- GREG CHURCHILL:Since ‘84 Greg’s been entertaining clubbers all over the world with his brand of house/techno sounds. He’s been voted NZ’s #1 DJ several times, and is one of the busiest, most popular DJs in the country! Greg’s also a highly accomplished producer, with his tracks spending time in the numerous international dance charts; and Ministry signing Greg to mix the first ‘It’s Just a Mix Tape’ compilation album. He's a legend!
