Ok this is my "Bio"
Infamous man-about-town Tim Phin is a multi talented force in the dance scene. Not only is he NZ’s #1 House DJ, Tim is also the founder, owner and publisher of REMIX Magazine, mixes the Our House CDs, event promoter and even produces his own music.
Since first embarking on the REMIX project Tim has formed strong links within the global dance music community and cemented his own reputation as a skilled DJ and supporter of the very best in big room party music.
REMIX Magazine is now 10 years old and has become one of New Zealand, Australia and Dubai’s most successful fashion, music and lifestyle publications. Every issue comes with a free promo CD mixed by a talented local DJ and a free DVD containing interesting stories and interviews. Each has become a collector’s item amongst the REMIX community.
Tim Phin mixed the first REMIX CD back in 2000, selecting a smooth mix of underground house tracks and a couple of party tunes. From there the Our House mix-CD series was born with a double CD was released in 2001 through Universal Music in New Zealand and Australia, becoming instant bestsellers with 6 annual editions released.
Always ambitious, Tim embarked on his first production project under the name of Solidarity in 2003. The first ever Solidarity track ‘Find A Way’ was co-produced by Jay-J (San Francisco/Defected) and was signed to OM Records for global release with licensing to Hed Kandi and Defected.
The Our House clubnights are also going from strength to strength. Over the past seven years they have grown from 500 people, to 1500 at Coast Bar and now 3000+, and are the most extravagant events yet. The parties will continue to be massive over summer and the best is yet to come.
Over the years Tim has promoted numerous international DJ tours. He remains committed to bringing the best international artists and DJs to this region of the world. Some of the artists he has supported and promoted include Kaskade, Mark Farina, Miguel Migs, DJ Sneak, Sandy Riviera, Tom Middleton, Andy Cadwell, Mark Doyle (Hed Kandi / Fierce Angel), Mateo & Matos, Deep Swing, Jay-J, Jon Pearn (Full Intention / Bodyrox) Cabin Crew, Dirty South, Princess Superstar, Seany B, Ivan Gough (TV Rock), Vandalism, and James Ash (Rogue Traders).
A number of top New Zealand acts including Shapeshifter, Concord Dawn, Minuit, Greg Churchill and just about every well known local DJ have also appeared on the line up at Tim’s gigs.

2007 sees the launch of the next Our House compilation : Our House 08. It is the only retail dance CD from the New Zealand market and this time explores the sounds of electro house, new rave and dirty dancefloor beats.
Tim has achieved much in his home of New Zealand. He is now one of the countries most recognized and bankable DJs, and is turning his sights on the global dance floor. Watch this space.
