started his rapping career at the early age of 15 years listening to the
hottest rappers, adapting and perfecting his style. As his rap game progressed
and word got out in the streets, Jay-Ryde got into battle rapping taking out
everyone in his path. Keeping it street in every verse with hot lyrical
content and the best punch lines coming with a style unheard of in St. Louis.
As the founder of Street Team, sometimes he had to work the hardest to keep
the group with a great sound. Now, he stays on the grind to get his music out
and get his group's name out there so that the rest of the world can get a
feel of how St. Louis really is hood.

city of St. Louis, he's the youngest of four. This young member of a crew
called the DS Click aka., Damaga Squad, he is moving up, and there’s no
stopping him until he reaches the top. The young'n got a flow that you can
catch but no other can match. His sick flow had been felt from the inner city
blocks to the stage top floor. It's no looking down only up. No doctor can
save medik, only himself because he's like a problem with no answer. He calls
himself Medik 'cause his life is in his own hands. Norman made a decision to
leave the streets and pursue a rap career .The streets gave him the nickname "Medik
4," because the flow packed nothing but metaphors. So you know and always know
“Street Team 4 Life Famâ€-crack spitter young Medik.
WESS CYTY
August tenth, 19-- was the date that something great arrived on the Westside
of St. Louis...a new son by the name of Jared Collins, aka., "Wess Cyty." It
was a new day for Mom, Brother and Grand Parents because a gifted rapper was
born. They just didn't realize it at the time. It wasn't easy for them then
and it's still a challenge today. With no father in the home, Mom and Grand
Parents were his greatest source of inspiration to strive for a better way of
life. After pulling away from the gang life , staying in school and keeping
focus on his rapping became his passion. He has been rapping since about the
age of eleven. Most of his time is spent upgrading his style. Wess Cyty keeps
it real with his flow. Success is his motivation because he can't see himself
locked up or dead. He wants to make it because the path that he’s been on is
not the path that he chooses for he’s future. A new day, with a new way is
still dawning in the life of Wess Cyty and its gonna be a blast! So, don't
miss it because next time you see him, its going to be on TV.

Bijou
Bijou's music is a reflection of his childhood and life experience. Son of a
Sephardic immigrant and a nomadic father, his home life was anything but
conventional. He lived in various homes around northern California before
settling in the small town of Mendocino, outside the radar of mainstream
society. For most of his life he lived in a barn with no indoor plumbing and
infrequent parents, yet he was still taught to be an individual and find his
own path in life. His parents eventual divorce during his early teens caused
an uncertainty in how to express himself, but Bijou would soon find solace and
solidarity in a most unexpected place, the words of the legendary Tupac Shakur.
The rap music that attracted Bijou painted pictures that spoke directly to his
soul which he expressed in poetry. Eventually at the age of fourteen he began
writing his own verse and joined other local youth in honing their voices.
Bijou became transfixed in creating music which carried throughout high
school. Performing locally to consistent crowds, he scored a regional hit with
the song "Welcome to Mendo" which recieved local airplay. After graduating
high school he attended San Diego State where he continued to make music and
perform at school functions. Bijou's international background also led him to
perform in Israel and Morocco.
This year Bijou left college to complete his debut CD, "Where The Pavement
Ends," which brings him back home where he finds himself more comfortable now
than ever before.
"I kind of had to leave home to find home. This album is an honest look at my
life, where I am now; it reflects my journey, which I know is just beginning."
