The first rap I wrote was in the 3rd grade, it was for my baby sister. The oldest of 5 kids, I always had to play my part and lead by example. In 1993 my family was uprooted and moved to Jacksonville Florida. First on the south side near St Johns Bluff. Then to the west side where I finished middle school and started High School. All the while sharpin my style, and reppin the sky city, to who ever wanted to hear it. By 97 I was back in the town, feelin like I was gone be stuck, gassin the city by myself. Until through the great vine my partner Po10chal, connected me with his good people with the super spits.Rashad Taylor born in San Diego California with the gift to gab in February 19--.  Born in to a family that knew nothing but struggle, hustle, and bubble. Ever since I was a youngster I thought music was a way of life, it was a certain song, on a certain day that made me feel a certain way. I remember freestyle rappin when I didn’t know that’s what I was doing. I didn’t ever bang for no particular set. Because to me the hardest niggaz in the world was part of my family. So I didn’t ever have to prove my self to nobody. I first put the pen to paper around 93 or 94. But nothing serious, just me my lil brother, & a couple of homeboys sittin around playin other niggaz singles on the instrumental side writing raps. Then mom & pops took a left and decided to move to Denver. After a couple years of eatin niggaz up lyrically, seeing all these people in the business all over T.V. and radio getting rich doin something I was passionate about.  I started my dream of having millions of people snapping their necks to my music. Small steps, Small steps, Got in touch with my cuzzin C-Low back in SD. He started mailin me fire tracks from that nigga GTA. I took a couple trips back home. Put down a couple of tracks.  Then C – Low had to do some Fed time so that stopped faster than it started because that’s life. So I stayed chasing my dream. Because I just knew theirs a spot for me in this music business. Small steps, Small steps. My nigga Po10chal told me about his home boy TTRip form back in the day tight with spits, Brain on the same shit. We formed the arsenal H.D.C., High Durt Click or High & Durtee Click, Livin Spacez prod. Jerome AKA TT Rip. Jamar AKA Luniac. Rashad AKA Slash D.  The homeboy Durtee Mattress provided the funds necessary to put what time we could in to our approach to the industry; Because he could see the same vision.  But patients is a virtue in the business and we learned that real fast.  We recorded and released our first CD “ THE GOO GOO ZONE” in 2001-2002 locally, then a second album “ LANDSCAPE” in 2003-2004 and it leaked into our surrounding states. But no major outside buzz. Due to the fact that we are our distribution and record labels in Denver have never heard of  budget before.  Plus we laborers raisin kids with not enough time to sell enough CD’s to make enough money to provide for our families. So we like, which way do we go?  Small steps, Small steps. My cuzzin C-Low got at me via letter talking bout he bout to get out and he was cellies with this nigga O who’s super plugged in the game, so it was bound to crack. He get out, we fly out to SD meet that nigga Big O. End up with some super slappers from that nigga Ambush. Went back to Denver and started hittin the studio with those and the knockers we had from GTA. Luni is in Vegas now so we can’t all zone how we zone together waiting for when the game is ready for us. We feel we took enough small steps to get where we at . We ready for them big steps, that Big Wurk.
