The Noir Guy was a concept conceived by the positive reactions surrounded by Director/Producer Chad Armstrong's noir style promotional videos for his production company. After meeting Writer/Producer Geoffrey Grant on a site for filmmakers entitled FilmTies.com the two began to collaborate. On one movie entitled "In the Eyes of an Angel" and more importantly the aforementioned "Noir Guy".
It was going to be a nine episode internet series, a satirical one that follows one man's naive inability to live in today's world and the situations he faces while attempting to... in other words, IT'S A COMEDY.
As Geoffrey began to write the pilot, along with future episodes, Chad began to get the locations and actors in line. Before all was said and done they had the script, the location, the actors, music and furthermore sponsors.. Timotion Digital , TVT Records , Dismembered Clothing , Jay Curtiss Clothing to name a few.
And so it began a small concept turned into a big thing. The Pilot Episode starring Keal Kerber (The Noir Guy), Alexa Moore and Rachel Matos was shot and then on August 15th debuted on a plethra of sites. On Myspace alone it recieved 1000 views it's first few days not to mention was the most watched Comedy and Video in that same time frame!
