Luna Sprout

About Me

Luna Sprout makes the sublime acoustic music people have been waiting to here, pulling their inspiration from diverse artists such as Jethro Tull, Magnetic Fields, Joanna Newsome and Bjork.
The band played their first gig in June 2006 building up a dedicated fans base within Northamptonshire; their style striking all music fans. Gigs soon became a who’s who of local musical talent wanting to see them play.
Luna Sprout has played a string of acoustic dates across Northamptonshire and is looking to branch out across the rest of the country.
They have been featured in Arts Council funded magazine Music for Squares in August 2006 and have been played on the BBC Weekender radio show.
The highlight for the band recently was ‘Safe as Houses’ being played by Channel 4 Radio. Tom Ravenscroft (John Peel’s son) specifically searched out Luna Sprout to play on his Slash Music show as the first song on 9th March.
Luna Sprout will be available to book from April onwards. For more information - contact [email protected]
