Heavy metal, classic rock, folk, some alternative, etc. My favorite form of metal is black metal. Ive been into it for about 7 years now and my interest in it is at an all-time high. I prefer the 'raw' (true, kvlt, old school, whatever you wanna call it) form of black metal. My favorite black metal bands are Nargaroth, Satyricon, Darkthrone, Burzum, Horna, Satanic Warmaster, Sargeist, Moonblood, Mithotyn, Blodulv, Windir, Marduk, Immortal, Setherial, Vlad Tepes, Angantyr, etc. Some of my favorite non-black metal heavy metal bands are Amorphis, Black Sabbath (my first concert ever), Dissection, Agalloch, Slayer, Amon Amarth, Iron Maiden, Death, Green Carnation, Testament (my first club concert ever), Iced Earth, Trouble, etc. Some of my favorite non-metal bands/songwriters are Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Johnny Cash, U2, John Mellencamp, etc.
My favorite is definitely war. Some of my favorite movies are Braveheart, We Were Soldiers, Rocky IV, Scarface, Walk the Line (yes, I do like some country...), etc.
This may sound boring but I mainly just watch the news, various Music Choice stations, pro wrestling, and comedy re-runs. Some of my favorite shows are Sliders, The Sopranos, That 70s Show, etc.
I dont read as much as I should. But I love reading about history, different cultures, alternative history, historical fiction, etc. My favorite book? Possibly Heimskringla.
