October Allied has crafted a unique sound that combines vintage tones and modern songwriting.
Their music straddles the past and the future of rock-and-roll. Masters of post-punk modernism who have become serious students of blues, country, jazz, r&b, and soul, the bandâ€™s honest reverence of their musical heritage is unmistakable, but never takes the form of revivalism.
Formed in 1999 after a chance reunion of east coast expatriates in an Oakland bar, October Allied has built a reputation as a live band that is not to be missed through countless performances around the San Francisco Bay Area and western US.
