The members of Three Rounds came together in Las Vegas in November of 2007, hailing from different parts of the country and bringing different influences, tastes and ideas to the table. Since their inception they've been carving out a sound that may seem comparable to others, but carries it's own unique flavour. With Fucking King George on vocals and guitar, originally hailing from the industrial wastelands of New York City and New Jersey, he brings an undying love of the Ramones and a 50's rock sensiblity that he intertwines into his anthems of angst, frustration and hedonism. On lead guitar from novenber 07 to july 08 there was Noe Noriega, from Tuscon's sunbaked valleys, with solid punk playing and leads that seem to be influenced by everything from The New York Dolls, Guns N Roses and the voices of hundreds of screaming kids, and the promise of thousands more. On the Drums,from november 07 to july 08 coming from the cracked sidewalks and humidity-soaked alleys of the Dallas/Fort Worth area is Crash Stitches. With a love of good shit from western swing, pop-punk, Hank Williams, and reggae to black, thrash, and death metal, he was the big panda keeping tight beats and expressive fills. The bass is played by Fast Eddie 8Ball, from the dirty grey landscape of Philadelphia, brings his love of hardcore, aggressive punk and 1950's jazz into his often-walking basslines and occasionally growling backing vocals. Now on the drums is joey peepers who has been a friend of the band for quite some time and brings to the table a wide variety of percussion and a huge amount of talent. From an odd variety of people with different backgrounds and tastes something catchy and pleasing to the ear has arisen, a band that can be everything to everyone, good songs, catchy rhythms and hard fast drums, Three Rounds is gaining momentum to bowl you over, and trust me, you never went through Three Rounds like this..... !
Three Rounds has our song "Next to Nothing" featured on the Back Ta Basics Records compilation "Down for the Core Part VIII" (btb76). We still have some copies around town in various independent record stores (Zia, Cash For Chaos, etc) and a few in our merch. Hit us up if ya want one!
