Hailing from Germany TEN STRIKE plays a mixture of wild rockabilly and what is now called old school psychobilly which tends to be rare this days with bands that are playing either “authentic†rockabilly or modern psychobilly with nothing in between. They aren’t really newcomers as they started in the 80’s, had an album on Tombstone Record in 1989 (Outlaw - sold out) and supported acts like The Guana Batz, The Stray Cats, The Keytones and The Frantic Flintstones. On hiatus for a few years the band is back and is ready to rock your house.
Their stage performance is raw, wild and outrageous, their music a new mixture of Country, Western and the rude style of new Blues Guitarists like Stevie Ray Vaughan or Johnny Winter. This is pure, raw and wild Rockabilly - or Rawkabilly, that’s how they like to call it. No reproduction of old, authentic standards, but 2/3 own handmade rough songs and some standards (Folsom Prison, Breakaway) performed in their own RAWKABILLY STYLE.
See ‘em on Stage! Put the spurs to your horses and jump into your boots, to join their next coup. Vamos Gringos.
„Wrong place, wrong time, too late, my Dear:
TEN STRIKE is back, so pray, pray, pray!“
