One of the most unique and influential artists to grace the world of rockabilly is undoubtedly Herbie Duncan. He came along at time when rock-n-roll was fresh and new and exciting. He came up along at a time with the likes of Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly and Johnny Cash. His style was different, his swagger was unique and his music was pure rock-n-roll. Most of his earlier recordings were done in the studio with no rehearsals and having just met the fellow musicians for the first time before recording he still managed to put forth some raw classic sounds that put him in the realm of rockabilly nobility.
