ALEX FARRIER first broke on to the Newcastle clubbing scene securing a residency at BUDDHA, staged at the legendary Foundation nightclub. He quickly became one of the North’s most acknowledged electro house DJ’s, with regular slots at HAREEM, EXPOSURE, SUNDAY’S AT STEREO and currently JUNIOR G (GOODGREEF).
His style of music progresses from minimal right through to energetic electro, building his sets using his creative style of mixing, and constantly keeping the most demanding of crowds on their toes. He has played along side some of the biggest names in the electro scene, including Radio 1’s TROPHY TWINS, HOXTON WHORES, ADAM SHERIDAN and Galaxy FM’s RILEY AND DURRANT.
On the production front, Alex has teamed up with GOODGREEF resident MARK MAITLAND, producing an exciting mix of energetic electro. This has come to the attention of RILEY AND DURRANT’S ‘NU BREED’ label, to which Alex and Mark’s ‘The Test’ has recently been signed. With other releases and remixes out on labels such as TSL, it looks like this year you will be hearing plenty more about ALEX FARRIER.
