Saban was formed by Onde (vocals) and Tulling (bass, guitar) in 1999. Later that year the first demo called Demonic Darkness was released. Because they didn`t have a drummer yet, they used a drum machine. The demo was released totaly underground anonly 50 copies were made. Later that year a drummer called Sikker joined the band. A demo called Cold Northren Winter was released a few months after, but before releasing it, Sikker hung himself. The picture of his hunged body was than used as the cover for Cold Northren Winter. Project Saban was than put on hold for almost a year for personal reasons. In 2001 a drummer named Stygg contacted Saban hoping to join the band. We had an audition and he proved himself worthy of being a member of Saban.
Tulling and Stygg never got along and after months of rehearsing and writing new material Tulling dissapeared. The police ivestigation found nothing suspicious but their primary suspect was Stygg. Tullings dissapearance made
Saban to dissband.
In 2005 Stygg and Onde once again came in contact. They decided to revive Saban and make it into a beast of pure Black Metal that it supose to be. They bough a house in the woods and moved there and started making new material.
In the fall of 2006 a misterious fire burned down their whole cabin destroying all of their equipment and material that was already prepared for the album.
But this time Saban couldn`t be stoped. They repaired the house and wen`t back to work, making their material more grotesque, pure and straight from the heart.
The album is not yet named but expected soon!
