I'm in a few bands: Bear Proof Suit, Rapid Adaptor, Louis Tully, and an Andrew W.K. cover band called Tabman W.K., but I like other music too. Such as: Tom Lehrer, The minutemen, Black Flag, Green Day, The Go-Go's, Iron Maiden, Pinhead Gunpowder, the Ramones, Husker Du, The Beach Boys, The Lemonheads, Credence Clearwater Revival, Andrew W.K., The Ramones, Nirvana, the Foo Fighters, Fyp, Toys That Kill, the Fleshies, period three, the catholic Boys, The Kind of Jazz music that kils, The modern machines, the retired supervillains, the apologetics, pink reason, superdrag, the Figgs, Tom Waits, The decendents, ALL, The Onion Flavored Rings, No Means No, Sweet Baby, The Beatles, The Who, Black Sabbath, Stravinsky, The potential Johns, and lots of stuff i heard but can't remember the name of because my brain sucks.
Movies:
Dumbo. movies with bill murray, Wes Anderson movies, film noir, Gremlins (the first one), Gremlins II (the second one), Fast times at ridgemont high, The shining, Harrison Ford's older movies, THe goonies and The Burbs, 80's movies. jap-animation. Dirty Work. Jean-Luc Godard, Bruce Lee
And all Hollywood cinema can eat it. Except for JAWS. And some other stuff too. Who am I kidding I love explosions, high speed chases, fights on trains and way over-the-top drama, someone kill me before I go see Superman or in some other way take it in the ass from the Major Studio film companies.
Television:
No......well maybe sometimes, but it's gotta be funny, like futurama.
Books:
Until the day I die I will always be in be in the middle of a book (usually many books) or have another on hand, this is true and assure's me that I'll always have something to read on the toilet. Here's some good stuff, but it will always be outdated to my actual reading list. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Dashiel Hammet, Mickey Spillane, Detective fiction in general, Dostoevsky, J.D. Salinger, Douglas Adams, Isaac Asimov, Isaac Asimov, and Issaac Asimov, Nietzsche, Charles Bukowski, Herman Hesse, Thomas Wolfe, Voltaire, Franz Kafka, Kurt Vonnegut Jr. and graphic novels like Watchmen by the amazing Allen Moore or Kingdom Come with amazing art by Alex Ross, Batman, anything by Daniel Clowes, Scott Pilgrim, and the Preacher comics totally kick ass. I also like to read independent zines and comics. If you ever want to recommend something please do.
