Books, Music, films, pubs, festivals (esp. with ActionAid Space!), friends, family (esp. my parents), travelling (esp. Barcelona with Bren), new cities, new places, cooking, talking bollocks long into the night, reading, sitting in muddy fields watching crazy boys exhausting themselves, playing pool and occasionally winning, playing darts and very rarely winning, mythology and pagan beliefs (reading & learning about), writing childrens' stories, writing recipes, Ashdown Forest, burlesque, dressing up, dancing, farmer's markets, high drama, cocktails, chilli chocolate, David Firth - only just discovered his weird and wrong world of Salad Fingers and am hooked,... I'll add more as they occur to me

Anything and everything from gruesome murder mysteries to SOME chick lit. Very into Carl Hiaasen and Christopher Brookmyre. Jane Austen, Janet Evanovich, Terry Pratchett, JK Rowling, Isabelle Allende, Jonathan Kellerman, Joe R Lansdale, Anne Rice, Michael Marshall (Smith), Nigel Slater, James Maw. I really will read anything I get my paws on.
Corny, but true - my mother. She has gone through a serious amount of crap and is still witty, clever, and huge hearted. My dad is incredibly rock-like too and becomes more and more of a friend the older I get. Also corny, but also true - the great strength & inspiration I get from my closest friends is irreplaceable - JB, Piggy & The Boy spring to mind.
