Press_Release!!!Vernon Moore & the Urgency Project are one of the most exciting groups to blaze
the streets of Jackson, MS, in a long time. Since their first, live recording in
January 2004, the streets of Mississippi have been buzzing to get their hands on a
copy of their CD!!! The release date was January 2005. Their first radio single entitled
Hell Never Change quickly made its ascent to the ..1 spot on the charts of 95.5(Clear Channel Radio) for more than eight weeks. 95.5 not only reaches Mississippi, but parts of surrounding states such as Louisiana. Their music has also hit the airways of places such as New York, Texas, Arkansas,California, and has found a fan base in Japan!In the year 2003, Vernon, with the help of his brother Greg, established his own
Record Company (With Us Entertainment). They envisioned a new and different
gospel sound to introduce to the people of God. Later that year, The Urgency Project,
was formed. Urgency meaning: God commissioned them to unify all his people through
worship and relationship according to John 4:23, and to become all things to all men
according to 1Corinthians 9:19-22.Since the formation of the group, they have performed around the country in
places such as Tampa, Florida; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Austin, Texas; Memphis, Tennessee; Chicago, Illinois; San Diego, California; and Yocusuka, Japan . The Urgency Project made their first official Bobby Jones Gospel Showcase appearance in December, of 2005. They have also opened for phenomenal acts such as Mary Mary, The Canton Spirituals, Beverly Crawford, Micah Stamply,Karen Clark-Sheard, Ki Ki Sheard, Johnathan Slocumb, and Lisa McClendon..Additional facts about Vernon Moore:
