KRAYON’S WORLD!!!

Demetrius JuWann Nabors affectionately known in the music world as "Krayon" was born in 1975 and raised in the Metro Detroit area. During his childhood, he acquired a taste for instruments, mainly the violin and drums. Born into a spiritual household, his roots were planted in church where his love and passion for music was cultivated. At the age of 15, he learned to play the piano and organ by ear. His teacher was Ms. Barbara Denard who strongly encouraged him to overcome his fears and showcase his remarkable talent. At his church which was not a typical church, the worship services included music heavily infused with many different genres of music, subsequently, becoming the foundation of his musical style. His Pastor, Prophetess Leslie R. Brown, provided a sanctuary for him to study all types of music from jazz, blues to classical. Hence, Krayon was born. The musician who composes and performs music that is colorful, alive and vibrant.

Krayon is a musician with passion and integrity. He is in high demand and has worked with notable artists such as The Whitfield Music Group, Dorinda Clark Cole, Donnie McClurkin, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Kurt Carr & The Kurt Carr Singers, Vicky Yohe, The Whitfield Company, Kim Burrell, Beverly Crawford, Myron Butler & Levi, Fred Hammond, LaShun Pace, Charles Curry, jazz artist: Randy Scott (sax), Dennis Coffey (guitar), Shelby Brown, Tramaine Hawkins, Chris Jones & Word of Praise, Darius Twyman & Destiny, Ernest Lee & The Spirit of David and many local artists. In addition, having the opportunity to open for Morris Day & The Time, Yolanda Adams, CeCe Winans, Vicki Winans, Kirk Franklin, Byron Cage, Donald Lawrence, Karen Clark Sheard, Kierra "Kiki" Sheard, Marvin Sapp, Ricky Dillard & New G, Ben Tankard, Tim Bowman, Richard Smallwood, Men of Standard.
Krayon is a humble man who appreciates music, art, dance and any form of artistic expression. He feels the objective for composers, performers, producers, painters and dancers is to have freedom to express themselves in hopes of being accepted by society. He believes that was an internal fear that he has conquered. His aspiration is to minister, perform, compose, & produce music that will not only make one feel good, but bring a sense of completion/resolution in one's self or situation. Embracing the creativity that has been given by God has resulted in producing and writing boundless, limitless, colorful music for the world. MEANING U WILL SEE "KRAYON'S MUSIC" MORE & MORE.
