I am the CEO of Species Entertainment which is a company that produces music for all genres of music. My industry debut came on September 20th 2005 when Ray J's album "Raydiation" hit the stores. As you will hear in my music file, I wrote one of Ray J's hits on the album, the song called "Melody" which is track number 7. Species Entertainment has a wide variety of tracks and songs and are in the studio with various different artists right now, both signed and unsigned. We are also shopping for a publishing deal a we speak.***************
Right now I'm still and probably will for a while be mourning the loss of my right hand man Marcus "Urkman" Johnson. I had made him part owner in my company, but more importantly he was a great friend of mine. We were as close as brothers and had a comradery that wasn't rivaled by many. We spent long hours creating music together which is something I will sorely miss. I was the CEO but he was the COO and he never had a problem expressing his feelings about the business, but the way we talked: eventhough we were business partners was still in a brotherly fashion and I will always remember him and respect him for that.
The way I feel right now is the way Timbaland felt when he lost Aaliyah. Because Urkman was a very intregal piece of the Species Entertainment Family. I know that he doesnt have to suffer with that horrible asthma anymore, and I also know that he's in heaven with the Lord right now...BUT GOD I MISS HIM! I love you Marcus "Urkman" Johnson...YOU WILL NEVER BE REPLACED! For every loss there is a gain. And although I will miss him I am in celebration of life because on Jan. 30th 2007 my BEAUTIFUL daughter was born into this earth. My daughter is my world and my air, and she is but a reflection of her beautiful mother... Lets just put it this way, if my little girl gets my musical ear fused with her Mother's voice and looks...you can expect for her to SHUT THE GAME DOWN in about 16 or 17 years!!!
