I'd like to meet:
I'd like to meet Matthew McCaughnahey -- DUH -- Madonna --(after all, she IS my mother), Dave Chappelle --(my hubby), Oprah , Robert Downey Jr. , Dale Earnhardt, Jr. , George Strait --(my OTHER husband), Matthew Perry , and everyone from the cast of Felicity . I don't care man, I LOVED that show. Also, Johnny Depp is pretty freakin' rad. I'm also hopelessly devoted to Damien Rice --my Irish brother from another mother.

Movies:
Lots of fave movies. The Breakfast Club, Shakes the Clown, Top Gun, Jerry Maguire--(basically ANYTHING with Tom Cruise), A Time to Kill--(Matty looked so hot and did so good), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas--(f'n awesome movie), and Reservoir Dogs. Also, I love any Mafia movie, aka The Godfather, Scarface, and Goodfellas. From Dusk til Dawn was also sweet. Only because George Clooney looked so damn scrumptious with that sexy tattoo on his beautiful neck. Mmmmm...............

Television:
My favorite show of all time will ALWAYS be Felicity. I will forever LOVE, with all my heart, Felicity, (Keri Russell) Noel, (Scott Foley) and Ben, (Scott Speedman.) It might sound cheesy, but that show really inspired me and was exactly what I needed for my life at that time. Love you, Felicity!! I also love Friends, Welcome Back Kotter, and Punky Brewster. Three's Company will forever be a fave-- (even the spin-off's--Three's a Crowd AND The Ropers!!) I loved Carol Burnette & read in my baby book I liked The Waltons. Conan O'Brien is MOS DEF my brotha from anotha motha. I love Oprah and Dr. Phil. TOTALLY love SNL, (new AND old) Mad TV, and ol skool In Living Color, son. The Daily Show with none other than John Stewart (I'm so happy for John for finally finding his niche). And that crazy-ass sidekick of his Steve Colbert, star of The Colbert Report. I also like Another 48, The Girls Next Door, I love New York, Family Jewels, and Hogan Knows Best. My favorite reality show was Rock of Love with Brett Michaels of Poison--DUH!! (LOVE YOU, BRETT!!!!!!! Whats-a goin' on???????) Wanna give a shout-out to my boy--Andy Dick--(Call me) Almost done here........my fave girl comedienne is Chelsea Handler, so I like her shows alot. Last but not least, my favorite man in the world........Dave Chappelle, that WAS and ALWAYS WILL BE the best show ever made--Chappelle's Show--"Betta not bring yo ki-ids!!"
Books:
The #1 book for me was, is, and ALWAYS will be The Bible. After that, everything just pales in comparison. But "1984" by Orwell was a good book. "Green Eggs and Ham" is one of my faves by the Doc. "Go Ask Alice" is a wonderful book, well, it was really a diary written by a very young teenage girl. Author is unknown, however. "Sons and Lovers" and "Lady Chatterley's Lover" are both exceptional pieces of literature written by D.H. Lawrence. I like Christopher Pike. I really do. Love him. How 'bout THAT?? I also LOVE poetry. I'm a HUGE fan of any poetry Jim Morrison's ever written. I love Sylvia Plath and ee Cummings. I'm a HUGE fan of Shakespeare. No one writes like Maya Angelou.
Heroes:
And that's why she's one of my heroes--(Maya Angelou, that is.) When she read at Coretta Scott King's funeral-- (that Martin Luther King's wife--for those of you that sadly didn't know that.)--I was taken aback. I've always loved Mrs. Angelou's writing, but until you've had the privelege of her reading it TO you, or unless you've simply heard her read it aloud, you'll never fully GET it. If you don't cry or your arm and neck hairs don't stand on end or if you don't get a lump in your throat the size of Texas, you're just not human or something. You've gotta be a freakin' robot or somethin. Maya Angelou's writing and narrating could MAKE a robot cry. And I'm gonna stand behind that statement. Oprah's one of my heroes. My sister is one of my heroes. My wonderful, beautiful Nanaw is a hero of mine. So is my darling of a mother. My dad. My step-dad. My brother (from the SAME mother.) But my biggest and bravest heroes are all the men and women, (some of them are young boys and girls, really) that are out there, (wherever that might be) scattered about, fighting and protecting the weak, looking out for us so that we can sit here and bitch or not bitch, love or not love, hate or not hate. And they do all this away from their families, away from their friends, away from their children, (hell, some of them are just children themselves!!) away from their safety net of LIFE. All because........they simply said they would. They might not agree with what they're doing any more than a lot of us do, but they made a promise. So for them, it's not even a question, they're just doin' what they said. And there's a certain dignity in that, don't cha think?? To the women and men that our out there for us, trying to keep it peaceful here, while you show peace to others there--and to your sweet families that must be so afraid for you, but so PROUD of you at the same time, THANKYOU. You are my heroes. And to the soldiers whom are no longer with us.........THANKYOU. You died for me and my family and my friends. And you didn't even ever know me. But I was always there, somewhere, in your heart. And one day.......I'll be getting to shake each and every one of your hands. And I'll get to thank you all the proper way, face to face. Again, thank you all so very, very much. God Bless those of you still here (and your lovely families.) And to those of you sportin' them Golden Wings.......May you continue to Rest in Peace.......
