Formed in Milan in 1996 by Roberto Gandolfi (vocals) and Leandro Cadicamo (guitar).
They started as a death metal band and in the early years, they played with Francesco Saracino (drums) and Giorgio Capelli (bass). After their first performances at TIME,AQUATICA and RAINBOW CLUB (Milan), for a lot they have looked for new members to replace bass and drums players.1998
In 1998 Lorenzo Santorsola (drums) joined in the band and NASHWUAH recorded their first mini album single DENIED and ,after recluting Baù Federico on bass the band started playing with the actual line-up.2001
In early 2001 NASHWUAH recorded CLOSER THAN YOU THINK (published in 2002), a successful work in which aggressive and powerful metal riffs (like the one of the track Illegal mind activity or Free fall, make room to the moshing groove of the New York hard core style as like in the track My world .NASHWUAH mainly have been influenced by the sound of bands like Sepultura,, Machine head, Slayer; Sick of it all, Madball, Face down and more2002
In the last years the band has done many live performances in squats and clubs in the whole northern part of Italy going to Florence.
They shared the stage with the best Italian HC bands as KAFKA,WOPTIME, REDBLOODHAND, and some foreign as SOCIAL FREE FACE.2003
In may 2003 NASHWUAH went on tour in Hungary, Slovakia and Switzerland, they played in Budapest, Szombatelhy , Bratislava and Davos with the most important local bands.2004
NASHWUAH recorded four new tracks for the split WORLDWIDE HARDCORE CONNECTION chapter 2 out under Blodytears Collective, the split is shared with Hungarian friends Social Free Face and Smut from Macedonia with 4 songs for each band.
The split has been reviewed positively by a lot of Italian and European zines and webzines.
2004 - 2005
NASHWUAH supported bands like MADBALL, MELT BANANA, TERROR and AGNOSTIC FRONT in their gigs in Milan.2006
NASHWUAH are looking for a label and they are working for a new album.
