About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor - Image Hosting

First, thanks go to Vicki, who was my Gateway Friend on MySpace. (Dang you...)
I'm Greg, also known as the Midnight Gardener (and Gerg...and assorted other things). I'm enjoying MySpace for the connections to old friends and new. I love when the Internet makes the world seem a little smaller and friendlier!I was born in Hackensack, NJ and lived in Rutherford and Wood Ridge until I was 14, which is when my family and I moved to the Adirondacks, where I lived until about ten years ago, when I washed ashore of this lovely Cape of Cods.
I am definitely a bigger fan of Nature than of Human Nature. Why do we treat each other the way we do? And why do we have even less respect for our home, this cool little planet called Earth? Do you think we'll learn to change our ways before its too late?
I'm a gay man(Yes, gay: get over it), treading Life's Path with a great guy I've known for a decade now. Our lives are run (no, seriously!) by a large brown dog, Emily Grace, a friendly but crazy gray cat named Badum and a rabbit called Thumper George. Emily G's early attempts at establishing an pawhold on the internet (dogs invented it, you know) are available at Emily's Online Dog House .
I blog about the garden and some of the Good I find in the world at The Midnight Garden and would love for you to check it out. In a fit of misplaced industry, I've started another blog, MEANWhile... at which I'll sporadically discuss the rehabilitation of my large comic collection and a life happily squandered to four-color fantasy. I'll blog here about other stuff, I guess.
[8/30/07: I know the links to my blogs, etc., are not currently working. For some reason I can't change the html to direct you properly. Please don't be frustrated, you'll find those links accurately represented on a recent blog post!]
As for my Top Eight, I'm going to try to be good about rotating folks around some more than I have previously. I know so many great people here and I'd like to represent them a little better...without changing my page to feature the top 100 or something ridick like that. That said, I can be a little lazy...but we'll see how it goes.

You Are Emerald Green
Deep and mysterious, it often seems like no one truly gets you.
Inside, you are very emotional and moody - though you don't let it show.
People usually have a strong reaction to you... profound love or deep hate.
But you can even get those who hate you to come around. There's something naturally harmonious about you. What Color Green Are You?

I'd like to meet:

I meet way too many people, but that's a hazard of my job. I know for sure, though, that our world needs more heroes and so for now I would like to meet, first-off, Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman... ...or any of their associates from the Justice League. Definitely Santa Claus. Jesus might've been cool to hang out with, and I bet Will Shakespeare and Christopher Marlowe had good times. A cocktail party with the Gods of Olympus might be fun. And I would love to have worked besides Vita Sackville-West as she created the gardens at Sissinghurst. And...sigh...if only I'd known Matthew Broderick in the early 80s...

That said, I do enjoying meeting new people...so say hi, if you want--I'll be happy to hear from you. If we know each other in the "real world", consider yourself added to my Friends. And as long as you are a "real" person, and not some spammer trying to get me to look at your porn/product, I'll be glad to get to know you, too!

Your results:
You are Superman Superman 80% The Flash 70% Spider-Man 65% Green Lantern 60% Supergirl 55% Robin 55% Hulk 55% Wonder Woman 50% Catwoman 45% Iron Man 40% Batman 30% You are mild-mannered, good,
strong and you love to help others.

I am a
Daffodil You have a sunny disposition and are normally one of the first to show up for the party. You don't need too much attention from the host once you get there as you are more than capable of making yourself seen and heard.

Are You?
