I LOVE music. I pretty much listen to all kinds of music and love going to see bands live (my second career)!! I used to work in a record store while I was in college and my manager was always surprised at what I was buying...I don't limit myself to what other people think I should be listening to, whether they think it's cool or not. Most of my paycheck went to buying music anyway--wasn't very helpful in paying for college.
I saw him live in 1995 at Great American Music Hall in SF. Was he amazing...truly, yes.
I love the movies. Little Miss Sunshine. I also kind of like Scooby Doo, at least there was no Scrappy Doo or whatever his name was in it! The cinematic merits of watching a cartoon come to life on the silver screen....indescribable.
No TV. I love watching Anderson Cooper on CNN because he seems like an intelligent, thoughtful, involved anchor. Again, I don't get to see him much since I don't watch TV that much but I'm interested in reading his new book.
I love to read. I have stacks of books that I haven't found the time to read. I want to read The Alchemist and Miracle in the Andes. I like Dickens. A River Runs Through It. The Beach by Alex Garland, although the movie was really bad.
