Mundo Vegetal comenzó en el año 1996 en Andujar.El grupo lo formaban dos de los hermanos Cantudo,Javi y Raul.fué junto a Los Kostocaron uno de los grupos del movimiento underground en Andujar.Mundo Vegetal presentó una de sus maquetas en el Lagarto Rock de Jaen.Javi dejó mundo vegetal y formó jubilee junto a Pedro Cantudo(Sequentialee estudios).tambien forma whitechapel junto a Pablo Garcia.en la actualidad Raul Cantudo sigue componiendo con el nombre de Mundo Vegetal y trabaja como pincha discos especializado en world music bajo el nombre de dj vegetal.
