My name is N_DOUBLE , i make music..It became my way to deal with the things i know about stuff that is happening in the world, the things that are happened and things that are going to happen, because most people won't understand or think about this and trough my music i express frustration and my love for this art.I was raised with Indian music, soul funk and reggae and an Atari 1040st At the age of 11 i drove my moms crazy, experimenting with a sampling program on the atari 1040, discovering soundwaves and sampling on the Atari. ..... At the age of 15 i've captured an 8 bit sound construction set and Cubase for the atari, and thats where i started out sampling everything around me, and making beats. At that time around 1996 day i was listening to the only radio station ( 3 FM, VPRO Radio ) on air that would play such music on air, only in the evening. I was fascinated by the rhythms and the bassline,i've heard tunes by Goldie Bukem Photek 4Hero Dj Trace Shy FX and i wondered where it came from , especialy breakbeats . So i when started out looking for more breakbeats, i even found some on my folks lp collection. Around 1998 i still had no PC or worked with it untill my beats were noticed by the Groningen hiphop crew Zombi Squad. Because of hanging at their residence i've learned a lot more about sonic engineering on the PC. The guys could not believe i've made my beats on the atari ST, and the first time they showed me Sonic Foundry and from there the opportunities sampling and freaking the sound became more then i knew before.Producing music is my main thing, always looking for new ways..
