          Just Fresh from receiving a brand new guitar fully endorsed by ’Gibson", She is in the ropes of taking her first steps in her recording career as she prepares to embark on her debut album.
              After leaving home Mardi moved to Sydney and began her apprenticeship in music. After studying, she had some wins in sonwriting comps and was invited to play at the Woodford Folk Festival as a part of the emerging artist program, which lead to her start in distinguishing herself almost immediately.
          Mardi was a finalist in the 2007 Music Oz Awards with her thought provoking song "Fallen". And Won the Lighthouse Songwriting Award at The Port Fairy Folk Festival in 2006.
      A dynamic performer, Mardi was a part of the acclaimed Emergenza Festival and walked away voted best vocalist of the festival.
      Mardi took her turn performing recently with the Legendary "Jimmy Little" and "GANGAjang" as a part of a benifit night raising money for indigenous health.
          Mardi joins the crop of young up and coming Australian performers, and has also played alongside Evermore, was honoured to be asked up on stage to sing with Bill Chambers in Tamworth 2006, among all the other talented musicians she has sided over the last few years.Â
    Undoubtedly her own person, with her own sense of style, Mardi creates her own music with an extraordinary, versatile and compelling voice.
              Currently she is in preparation to work on her debut album and has plans embark on her first national tour in 2009.
