Set course for the obscure t-shirt-producing planet known as 'Earth'

About Me

Rarely effusive, internal, passionate, perplexed, curious, honest to a fault, cannot live without coffee, little-to-no concept of boundaries for conversation, quasi-respectful, perverse, and I love my cats more than I do you.

You're welcome, LTJ.

I am a firearms owner, registered voter (ind), and pro-choice.
I am probably not your cup of tea.
I may forgive but I never forget.
I am often not people. Read the entire profile, fuckers.
I WILL NOT under ANY circumstances add your band unless I've seen you play live AND I happen to like your music style/genre. No exceptions. I gotsta be that guy.

One of the best sites on the web.
The other best site for me.

Hot, naked, tattooed women

My Interests

Cycling (with pedals), aquaria and biotopes, tattoos (104.5 - 107.5 hours and counting), feline behavior, reptiles, electric guitar (not now nor will be in a band), conservation, all manner of art be it modern, pop, classic, or conceptual, piercing (11, doubtful I'll get any new ones), photography, PC & Xbox gaming, and Adobe Premier when I can play with it.

I'd like to meet:

Meet? Fuck if I know. I am broken and pieced back together. I don't really like most humans unless they're served medium rare with a side of tabasco and some collard or turnip greens.
My ex and I remain good friends - talk shit about her and you'll wear your ass as a hat.

As for friends...you must have an intellect of reasonable stature, such that you grasp the concept of "your" vs. "you're" and so forth. I don't care what you look like nor how different we may be but I do not suffer fools lightly. FWIW my friends list are IRL. As a rule I won't add you if you're under 25 and I don't already know you in person. Also I now require you to message me something about yourself such as why you'd want me on your list. If I already know you then say so. I'm not snobby but I do have standards.

Music:

Old-school Def Jam (Run DMC, Beasties, LL Cool J) and Tommy Boy, Tom Petty, Pink Floyd, NOFX, Misfits, Danzig, old Metallica (pre-"none more Black" album), Pantera, Curtis Mayfield, Isaac Hayes, Marvin Gaye, RaTM, 80's - 90's Sub-Pop, Fu Manchu, Peter Gabriel, Air (French band), Barry White, Talking Heads, Queen, Chemical Brothers, DJ "ass'n titties" Funk, Beck, Ministry-RevCo-and 1000 Homo DJs (Al Jourgensen has schizo tastes), Pigface, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, most anything that has a wah in it, Jurassic 5, Mountain, Tool, Miles Davis, Albert King, AC/DC, Otis Rush, Jimi Hendrix, Haste, Scrappy Hamilton, Porno for Pyros, Monster Magnet, Black Sabbath, Norah Jones (really), PJ Harvey, Steve Martin's banjo, Jane's Addiction, some of the older Rolling Stones, the list grows slowly...

Movies:

2001, A Clockwork Orange, The Reflecting Skin, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Apocalypse Now, The Abyss, anything Kevin Smith, anything Tim Burton, anything Christopher Guest, Miyazaki films (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, et al), The Jerk, Evil Dead 1, 2 and Army of Darkness...anything with Bruce Campbell in it, Flash Gordon, Flesh Gordon, Doom Generation (and lesser Greg Araki) Galaxina, the Alien catalog (yes, even 3), Wes Anderson and PT Anderson flicks, the first Matrix (the rest can burn), Pi, Requiem For a Dream, Hellraiser 1 & 2, Big Trouble in Little China, old Shaw bros. kung fu flicks, the Star Wars Original Trilogy, Star Trek 1,2,4,6,7,8, practically anything w/ Morgan Freeman in it (he was the original Spider Man on The Electric Company), most any nature documentary

Television:

Family Guy, Simpsons, Arrested Development, Law and Order franchise, CSI and CSI: Miami, The Office (Brit and North American), SNL when it's worth it, WonderShowzen, Late Night with Conan O'Brien(I miss Andy though), Will and Grace, Scrubs, Marty Stouffer's Wild America. None of these are necessary to watch; I'm content to catch re-runs.
I won't have cable/DSS - I refuse to pay for advertisements if I have the option. I also absolutely despise the show Friends. There are a plethora of reasons and if you want one, ask me. Come to think of it, I loathe most network programming aside from what I've listed. I'm a picky bastard.

Books:

I adore Vonnegut and have come to appreciate Willa Cather. The most recent book I've read would be Aquarium Designs: Inspired by Nature by Peter Hiscock. Yes, I did laugh at his last name for a second.
I also enjoy some Stephen King, a splash of Anne Rice (though I could give two shits less about vampires), Nietzsche, Frank Herbert, and Douglas Adams.
I'm open to suggestion for a good read.

Heroes:

Your average parents
