About Me

As a solo acoustic artist in the early-to-mid 2000's, Steven Gregory had performed throughout the Ohio regions of Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati, with travel to other neighboring states. Working with Cincinnati-based producer/performer Jeff Conner, his debut release of Collections of Incidental Behavior in '05 gave him further momentum. Gregory began an even more earnest effort of continual performance and regional touring.

Again teaming with Conner, Gregory released the more fully realized sophomore effort of Complicated Simple Thing in '06. The CD featured the additional element of Casey Lamb on lead guitar, and a band-oriented feel.

The release prompted a highly successful two-week solo tour in '06 of the Manchester and London areas of the United Kingdom. Upon returning, Steven sought to capture the full sound of the CD in live performance.

Forming the Steven Gregory Band, (SGB), he enlisted Lamb on lead guitar, Conner on bass and backup vocals, and percussionist Kevin Murray on drums.

Already evident in the on-stage chemistry, the four have begun to create a unified writing process that will be realized in future songs and recordings. Audiences experience mercurial extremes as whispered confidences rise to intense musical outbursts.
