You may recognize Tiffany 'Hot Chips' Michelle as an actress from film & TV or heard her music at a gig in LA... but its more likely that you've seen her at a poker table somewhere in LA or Las Vegas. Whether playing a pro tournament in Vegas, lending her expertise on poker radio or TV, playing for charity at the Laker's Casino Night Celebrity Poker Invitational or playing for fun at a cash game at Hustler, Tiffany is no stranger to the felt. In fact she knows how to hold her own at a table full of guys, having grown up playing with her brothers and grandfather!
Tiffany broke onto the poker scene in 2005 after honing her skills playing Hollywood house games for several years with fellow actors. She then caught the tournament bug after winning the very first Vegas tournament she entered. After a short time as a member of Bombshellpoker she cashed in her first pro tournament at the WPT Legends Of Poker event placing 21st out of 400 players. With her poker knowledge, performing background and personality came the invitation to join the 2006 national broadcast team for Bluff Magazine's live WSOP coverage on Sirius Satellite Radio. At this World Series her poker nickname came about during a live radio call-in segment, as a play on words from the MASH character ‘Hot Lips’ O’Houlihan, and due to Tiffany’s fancy chip tricks/handling at the poker tables… thus “HOT CHIPS†was born.
When she's not playing at the tables, commentating on radio or working on a film/TV project she can often be seen traveling the tournament circuit as the On-Camera Hostess for PokerNews.com. Not just a Hold ‘Em player Tiffany enjoys playing Stud, Omaha, Chinese, and most recently she discovered tournament sytle blackjack after appearing on GSN's 4th season of the World Series of Blackjack. Whether you tune in to TV, radio or poker you can't miss "Hot Chips" heatin' things up wherever she goes.
