As these tournaments can last up to 14 hours a day for 5-6 days in a row (or more), I take conditioning for such grueling feats of endurance very seriously! I have written numberous articles stressing the importance of proper nutrition and physical conditioning in order to maintain an edge over the less prepared opponent over prolonged periods of time. Take a moment to review them - they are republished in my blogs (with the permission of BLUFF Magazine).I learned to play 7 card stud and 5 card draw when I was very young - around 8 I think - and have been playing ever since. The recent poker explosion drew me out of the shadows as the tournaments offer too much equity not to play, but I still prefer cash games. I also love to play other forms of poker (Texas Hold 'Em gets boring after a while) - my favorites are 2-7 lowball triple draw and (even though it's kinda not really poker) chinese poker. When I'm not on the road playing poker, I spend my time in Miami - It's necessary for me to get away from the poker scene and clear my head between tournaments. I go to the gym every day, and since I live on the beach, I spend some time there too.etc., etc. etc: MY FAVORITE QUOTES / WORDS TO LIVE BY:I'VE ADDED ONE OF MY OWN, AS IT HELPED ONE, MAYBE IT WILL HELP OTHERS: "You have not the right to take your own life, as it does not belong to you. It is theft from those with whom you have chosen to share it. When your life is taken from them, is they that hurt, not you." - Me1) When lying on your death bed, it won't be the things you did that you will regret... it'll be the things you didn't do. 2) The only thing you can take with you is what you give away....... 3) Harboring animosity is like taking poison and then waiting for the other person to die...... 4) The more often you become scared, the easier it is to overcome it...... 5) Believe 90% of what you see, and 10% of what you hear 6) I will not tip-toe carefully through life solely to arrive safely at death. 7) Time is our most valuable asset... yet most people to waste it or kill it... rather than invest it.

WPT Championships....

Sometimes the cards fall your way... sometimes they don't. A good player can usually get deep in a tournament even if they aren't "getting running over by the deck" (i.e. running well). The WPT Champi...
